Winter Skin Care holds immense importance as the severe weather conditions effect the skin, quite much. The only required thing is the choice of suitable and correct products.

By the change of climate, especially in winter, skin starts getting dried from inside and this dryness appears on the outer layer, as well, in the form of lines. It is an alarming situation that means that you now need to take steps for your skin care. You just need a few changes in your daily routine; follow the tips below:

Avoid oil-free products

The idea of using oil- free products is good but not in winter. In the winter dry atmosphere tends to suck the natural oils from the skins of almost all types. All the skin types require more oil to look smooth, and oil-free products do not fulfill this requirement.

Ask for oil-based moisturizers

Skin care is incomplete without moisturizers. The entire skin care is based on the selection of the correct moisturizer. In winter, moisturizers should be selected with a confirmation that they provide enough oil to the skin, to meet its requirement. These oil based moisturizers should be applied regularly, especially in winters.

Use Almond oil

Almond is a very important ingredient for the skin care. It has a natural capacity to prevent skin from getting dry, by keeping the skin moisturizer locked for a long time. Almond oil has the innate ability to do wonders to all skin types.

Remember to apply sunscreen

It is indeed necessary to use sunscreen throughout the year but it becomes more important to use it in winters. Everyone loves to spend more time in the sun’s heat and therefore it is necessary for them to apply sunscreen. Don’t forget to buy an oil-based formula, while you choose your sunscreen!

Take warm water baths

In winter when the air is dry, it is suggested to take warm water baths instead of hot water baths. Hot water bath makes the skin drier and rough while warm water does not; adding a few drops of almond oil in the bath water is a good practice when it comes to skin care.

Exfoliation

Care must be taken in winter as it is extremely necessary due to the weather conditions. Winter season causes dryness and roughness of the skin. Exfoliation is necessary due to this dryness of the weather. The outer layer of skin begins to dry and small flakes appear which look really bad. They can be removed by keeping the skin well hydrated. Regular exfoliation is useful in keeping the skin healthier.

Hydrate your body

Water is a natural ingredient that removes dryness by excreting unnecessary elements from the body and making the inside, clean. Water is helpful in skin care in all seasons; it automatically resolves most of the skin problems. Water detoxifies skin properly and it gives a natural glow to the skin.
