- Armpits:
Yes I know you all must be groaning when it comes to armpits and yes they do give me at least a hard time during the summers regarding smell and sweat.
- Keep your armpits CLEAN!
Make your habit of cleaning your armpits regularly with an antibacterial soap which will cut short the number of bacteria count under your armpits and less odor that forces people to rush out of the room if somehow, it is spread.
- Hair:
Which are under your hairy armpits slow down the rate of evaporation hence causing the sweat to accumulate giving bacteria and excellent chance to turn that harmless sweat into a complete unbearable stink.
- Deodorant or antiperspirant:
These things make your skin very acidic causing the environment a living hell for the bacteria. Well that can be an overstatement. Antiperspirant works to block the sweat process in the glands in our body hence resulting in less sweating and less stink. Many studies on this topic have brought about results that antiperspirant may be linked to breast cancer or prostate cancer risk, (yikes).
- Botulinum toxin:
This unusual toxin is produced by Clostridium botulinum. This toxin is known to be the most poisonous biological substance known. Due to this reason today very little quantity of this drug is being used in several fields of medicine. After many discoveries a relatively new treatment is now available for everyone whose sweating under the arm is quiet common.
Hence, due to excessive sweating, an individual is given 12 injections of this toxin in the armpits, making sure of the procedure to last not more than 45 minutes. This treatment can generally last from two to eight months. This unique treatment helps in blocking the signals from the brain to the sweat related glands to sweat less through these toxins in the treatment. In countries where free health care is available this treatment may not be publicly available rather you’d have to get it done privately by paying for it.
- Wash daily with warm water:
The first step to a proper hygiene is to take regular baths for you to smell bad less and get rid of bacteria which will turn your sweat to stink in no time. Also in summers take precautions to bath more often and appear fresh and clean.
- Clothing:
Wear natural fibers which will allow your skin to breathe more hence preventing the sweat to stick along for a long time. Natural made fibers consist of wool, silk or cotton.
- Spicy foods:
Avoid spicy curries, garlic and other sizzling dishes for your meal as they increase an individual’s chance of sweating pungent. Red meat can also have a similar effect.
- Aluminum chloride:
This one is an active worker in the ingredients of antiperspirants. If your personal remedies don’t work, as also mentioned above, then you can rush to the pharmacist or a family doctor for this recipe.
