Winter is welcomed as a refreshing break from the sweating summers. We all love to spend day time in sun and enjoy eating oranges and dry fruits with hot drinks. It is a common conception that sun’s UVA rays in winters are not as harmful as the ones in summers. This is not really true. UVA rays are dangerous throughout the year and sunscreens helping us in protecting our skin from getting sun burnt.

In winter our bodies are completely covered and only face, hands and feet stay uncovered. The skin of these body parts needs special care for preventing them from getting damaged. These body parts need to be protected by a thick layer of sunscreen all the time.

The entire skin care is based on the right choice of sunscreen. Selected sunscreen should be multifunctional. It should protect the skin from wrinkles, dryness, flakes and brown spots by moisturizing the skin. UVA and UVB rays are extremely harmful to the skin. Sunscreens help in preventing the skin from both types of rays. In winter, the risk of UVA and UVB is higher due to maximum exposure to the sunlight. These rays not only cause sunburn but they can also cause aging of the skin.

Sun rays are harmful whether they come in contact with your skin directly, or indirectly. The rays, after they’ve passed through a window pane, are still harmful and the heat coming from a kitchen stove is equally damaging. So keep the sunscreen applied everywhere on your body, all the time.

Ladies! It is recommended for you not think economically while buying your sunscreens. Select a right product but be careful in its selection. Keep it in your mind that your sunscreen should be rich in its functions. It may cost you a little more but it will give you happiness and satisfaction of looking beautiful just like a dream princess!

Remember, to buy you a sunscreen which has enough amount of moisturizer for your skin and has the ability to block moisture in your skin pores; hence, keeping your skin healthier and fresher.

Enjoy snowy winter but carry with you, a sunscreen all the time. This is to give protection to your skin every time you go out. Snow surely looks beautiful but even snow is harmful as it contains 80% of the UVA rays.
