Metronidazole- a Mild Rosacea Antibiotic
A Rosacea antibiotic that is used to cure the mild symptoms of Rosacea, generally inflammation and burning. It can be taken orally and is also available in the form of gels and creams. It is not a strong anti biotic and cans be used with a combination of other medicines available for Rosacea.
Tetracycline- Another Common Rosacea Antibiotic
A very common Rosacea antibiotic and is usually given to patients who are suffering from Rosacea on their Eyes. It has some side effects associated with it such as nausea and stomach cramps.
Erythromycin
A popular Rosacea antibiotic: it can reduce persistent redness and inflammation to great extents and is usually given by the doctors in its oral form minimum up to 250 mg and maximum up to 500 mg.
Minocycline
It is not recommended very widely due to its profound side effect such as nausea and also skin becomes more prone to sun. However if given it is recommended to keep its dosage to the minimum up to 50 mg and maximum up 100 mg.
Doxycycline
An antibiotic that tend to kill bacteria that is responsible for further flaring up of Rosacea. Hence it can actively reduce the Rosacea symptoms to great extents.
