What are the natural remedies for skin cancer
With complex and not entirely satisfactory use of medicines has come an alternate way for remedies to diseases. People now prefer what help nature has to offer. Natural remedies are more effective and less expensive.
Remedies:
Be sure to eat plenty of vegetables and fruits per day especially those fruits which are abundant in antioxidants like beta-carotene, vitamin C and selenium. Independent studies have found that people with skin cancer have lower than normal tissue levels of vitamin A, beta-carotene, and selenium. Further, it has been found that increasing the intake of vitamins A, C and E, beta-carotene, and selenium helps to protect against the development of skin cancer.
Include in your diet plenty of whole grains, sea vegetables, beans and soybeans, hot peppers, cabbage, tomatoes, onions, rosemary, garlic, grapes, citrus fruits, licorice root, green tea, flaxseed and olive oils and white fish. These foods are thought to have antioxidant, anticancer, and immune-boosting properties.
Avoid red meat, processed foods, red and yellow dyes, monosodium glutamate, nitrites (found in cured meats), saccharin, sugar, dairy products, alcohol, caffeine-containing drinks, aspartame (NutraSweet), and hydrogenated vegetable oils.
Drink plenty of water daily, 8-10 glasses, to keep the waste materials flowing out of the body.
Herbal treatment:
- A soothing bath to which several drops of essential oils of chamomile or lavender have been added can help to relax and calm you if you are suffering from a severe form of skin cancer.
- For a general detoxifying and eliminative combination, mix equal parts of powdered extracts of bloodroot, burdock root, chaparral, dandelion, echinacea, frangula, ginger, licorice, red clover, and violet leaves. Put the mixture into capsules and take two capsules four times a day or you can drink the mixture directly with water.
- The extract of milk-thistle helps to strengthen the liver and detoxify your whole body. It is suggested you take 150 milligrams three times a day.
Refrain from using bergamot (yeah its crazy name) oil on your skin in the bath if you have to be unprotected in the sun as it greatly increases the vulnerability of suns damaging rays on your skin.
