Scalding Burn is categorized as second-degree burn which is much deeper and results in split of skin layers or blister formation. Scalding Burn with sun or hot water are common examples of second-degree burn. Sunburn Scalding Burn can be cured using any skin care product like sunscreen but other needs special attention.

Use long oven mitts to protect your skin during cooking or handling hot dishes. Turn pot handles to the back of the stove so that children cannot break down. Use the back burner while cooking. Keep children away from the stove when cooking. Food cooked in a microwave oven can get hot and cause burns. Use oven mitts when removing the lid, stir and check the food before serving to ensure it is cool enough.
For small Scalding burn, apply cold water or ice at once. This lessen the amount of skin harm caused by the burn and helps to eases the pain and for skin care. The cold must be applied for minimum five minutes and continued until pain is eased or relieved. Do not keep it so long that the burned area becomes numb. Aspirin or acetaminophen can be used to lessen pain. Any severe Scalding Burn or one that continues to be painful for more than 48 hours – should be seen by a physician or skin care expert.
Skin is very sensitive so there should be proper skin care after and during the injury. If skin care is not maintained after the treatment or surgery, it can lead to skin care problems. You should have regular sessions with doctor or skin care expert to avoid any further infection to occur.
